Honeymoon

Our honeymoon was spent in Kauai, Hawaii where we enjoyed some of the largest floods Hawaii had seen in over 50 years. The rain was so warm we walked to the luau through a foot of water, but it made everything, especially the plumeria blossoms, smell so delicious. Nearly every night brought incredible thunderstorms and we continually kept our door overlooking the beach open to watch the lightning show over the ocean. We also enjoyed a few clear nights walking up and down the beach in bare feet, where I witnessed the wanderings of what I thought was the largest spider in existence. It scurried across our path just in front of our feet, almost brushing our toes with its seemingly furry legs, and spanning at least eight inches wide. It took quite some time and practical reasoning to substantiate Ryan's much more logical theory of a crab.
