I love this guy!

This is my new favorite picture!

it was taken on mothers day.

we were engaged in some serious finger painting.

to be inspired by the myriad of blossoms we painted outside.

we were certain this poetic scenery would help produce the masterpieces we were anticipating.

we were wrong.

but it was a lovely day nonetheless.

we laid in the sun and read out loud to each other.

then we napped in the shade.

and ryan perfected his kodak smile.

and i watched him.

*kodak smile: the smile you can and must turn on at a moments notice and be capable of holding for hours at a time.
