can christmas be anything but happy & peaceful?

there's something about christmas.

something about being home this time of year.

something about the lights, and the noise and the people.

something about hearing the laughter of brothers and sisters.

just something about it.

something that reminds me of everything i most love.

and despite all the commotion, it feels peaceful.

even my least favorite christmases have always felt peaceful.
