a rainy day just craves a good book!



i found both of these absolutely enchanting!


some authors can almost convince you that you are
gazing at a beautiful painting, rather than simply reading words on a page.
i think Per Petterson does this especially well.

    I just read the Potato Peel Society one, and I loved it. It was such a refreshing read. Thanks for the tip on the other one!

    I also absolutely love, love, loved Out Stealing Horses. After reading it I wanted to move to Norway. Now that it's been over a year perhaps I will read it again :)

    I started Out Stealing Horses and didn't read far enough I guess. It was highly recommended so I better finish it. Who did I give it to? Can I borrow it back?
