last week i was on a birthday trip.

it was my sister tara's birthday this last wednesday.

and because birthday's are a big deal,

{especially this birthday} i went up to help her celebrate!

and despite the {freakish} winter snow storm.

despite the rain, the sleet, the mud, and even a couple black outs.

yes, even despite her nasty cold.

despite all of mother nature conspiring against us,

we had a truly wonderful and funny time.

because in our family you simply cannot gather without lots & lots of laughing.
