picnics on the brain

sundays always look the same around here.

church. meetings. nap. roast. walk.

they're pretty good days.

always spent at home and with family.

however, i'm of the opinion that they don't make very good days for birthdays.

because birthdays are a big deal.

and require many celebrations & traditions to commemorate.

but sundays are so full of already existing traditions,

that it's hard to make them feel like anything but a sunday.

and this year my birthday falls on one.

and at first i was glum about it.

but now i'm thinking a sunday afternoon picnic could

just make this whole thing work.

wouldn't that be charming?

an entire al fresco evening spent with all your favorite people?
