we had thundershowers today.
oh the absolute bliss of a good thunder-shower.
i'm lucky because i married a man who also appreciates rain.
and the glorious smell after the rain.
and the way it feels to be inside listening to the rain drops.
and watching the lightning & listening to thunder.
(side-note: as a girl i used to pray that it would rain on my wedding day.)
it brightened up a day full of lots of reading & homework.
and i'm pretty sure it's aiding blossoms like these to keep blooming well into october.
as well as our cherry red tomatoes.
