Our first snowfall fell this week.
And tonight I am loving just how very sweet our furniture looks out there -
tucked right into a thick blanket of snow.
This is exactly the scene that greets us outside our own front door.
Naturally this has also brought with it snow fights (too fluffy to make any actual balls),
snowy shuffly walks, and lots of etched out messages in all the white stuff.
It made the thanksgiving weekend very festive indeed.
I am especially charmed with the purply-pinkish hue that accompanied us outside tonight.
It was basking everything in the most wonderful sense of enchantment.
And inspired us to make big plans for a winter picnic (sometime) this season.

I always make Ryan walk in front forging them for exactly this purpose.)
You are making me miss snow! That snow looks so lovely and perfect and festive. I definitely miss it this time of year :)
