Ryan's Big Day!

yep, we celebrated ryan's 27th Birthday Party on Oct. 6, 2008!

we enjoyed some of ryan's favorite things,

pizza, salad, lemonade, jones & lots of balloons.

and many of our good friends joined us for

all the eating, laughing, and watching of iron man.

BFF Ostlers helped get everything ready

we recruited Eric to blow up balloons.

I think that was his favorite part of the party.

Ryan, as seen here, was given strict instructions to do nothing at all.

And yes, there are a lot of candles on that cake, but not quite enough.

Ryan needed 3 more candles to complete the 27.

when you need 3 packages of birthday candles it's a sure sign of aging.

Luckily, Eric could see the problem, and helped Ryan out. Phew!

german chocolate, another one of Ryan's favorite things! (german, by-the-way, is not capitalized because its named after a brand of chocolate and not the country. I knew you'd be wondering.)
