Baby Portraits

Every time I do a little photo shoot, I realize how very much I still have to learn.

I always see about a million mistakes I'd like to do over and do better.

But this little girl is turning one and was an angel to allow me some practice time with her.

It only required a few small bribes in the form of unlimited goldfish and her first taste of sugar cookie.

She was such a doll, despite a little break out of hives and a quick trip to the clinic.

Luckily we were able to coordinate around it all, and those hives were long gone for all the pictures!

(My priorities are fine, come on!)

She was as docile as a little lamb - except for the few times when she wasn't.

But even at her worst she is dang cute, don't you think?

I was completely inspired by this brilliant photographer for these two shots.

I like his style!
